Oh woe is me as I swim against the tide of humanity
we spiral down like a whirlpool into depravity
the enemy of our souls tries to choke the breath out of me

by this pain I am being destroyed falling in the abyss of eternal nothingness
then your spirit lives within and illuminates the deadness and darkness
I rise from the bleakness one warrior against the evil multitude
you are with me and guide me thousands fall on either side 'cause of you
I swing the double edged sword that is covered in truth
Your Word of Love becomes the answer and living proof
I am blessed to defend those that are weaker than me
to be a bridge so your children can cross over to thee
give shelter to the homeless and help feed the hungry
lay hands on the sick and help set the prisoners free
Rise up my brothers and sisters and come join with me
as we fight the good fight against the ills of humanity

there are so many caught up and imprisoned in this slavery
