Soft words are spoken
so that they enter into
our minds gently with ease
like a sweet cool summer breeze
on a hot arid day
soaked up and received
like a life giving relief
aid and assisting our being
into a calm peripheral seeing
Soft words spoken
are insatiably edible
easily digested and incredible
eagerly and gregariously consumed
entering in expanding the room
energizing the fibers of our being
light of day send darkness fleeing
instantaneously and meticulously dispersed
touching barren areas and giving birth
Soft words are spoken
in the stillness of an active mind
bring us into a realm
a place that is void of time
the past, present and future dwells
in the inner sanctum found in ourselves
